Reconnecting communities to nature

We support community groups, people, adults, and children to reconnect with nature.

CultureWood CIC Ltd is a non-profit community enterprise run by local women in Hertfordshire. We run outdoor environmental focussed sessions for community groups and local people. We run all our sessions and events using the Forest School ethos, of regular sessions, throughout the year.

We encourage all who to participate to learn about their local natural environment and to develop a deep respect for the natural world.

We run a range of regular sessions in locations across Hertfordshire.

Our passion is working with families, groups, adults and children delivering accessible and affordable outdoor nature focused sessions throughout the county.

We work with local councils, community groups and land owners to provide accessible, affordable community spaces for local people.

CultureWood also delivers Forest School programmes for local schools within Hertfordshire.  Email for details of programs

Our Forest School Practitioner, program leader and founder, has a passion for wildlife, and ensuring our precious green spaces are recognised.

Our passion is nature.

Our ambition is to create safe, friendly outdoor spaces for the whole community to enjoy, regardless of age and ability.

To create stronger community ties, teach new skills, and  work with local community organisations.
