NEW Triangle Tribe, Hitchin

A monthly gathering for teens and their families. Come join us on a Friday evening at Ransoms Rec in Hitchin.

For families with teens aged 12 to 16, join us for Triangle Tribe- themes include:

  • Survival skills.
  • Is it edible or deadible?
  • Ancient fire skills.
  • Bushcraft/carving from wood.

Home Educator Family Sessions

Family sessions designed for home educating families 

Term time WGC only-

Fortnightly sessions for families with children aged 3 and up.

Cost £6/child- includes drink/ and or snack

Sessions must be booked in advance. We run 6 sessions every term.

 

FREE Adult Woodcraft for Well-being Sessions- 2024

Sessions lead by an experienced wildlife ranger, volunteer leader and therapeutic outdoor practitioner.   Sessions aimed at 18 years and over.

Get away from it all and book onto our regular adult well-being sessions. Spend time with like minded people. Be inspired by nature. Nature as a natural re-set button..

NEW Conservation volunteer Working Parties, Letchworth

A great opportunity to volunteer at Howard Park and Gardens in Letchworth, the first garden cities', first public park. 

A regular, weekday conservation working party for Howard Park and Gardens in Letchworth.

Sessions held monthly, with a variety of small habitat improvement projects undertaken. 

All equipment, tea, coffee and biscuits provided.

New Working With Natural Materials Workshops

Accredited and qualified therapeutic practitioners deliver all sessions.

Looking to reconnect with nature and pick up new skills? Our 5-hour immersive workshops are ideal for adults eager to delve into the fascinating world of nettles, brambles, and other common plants.

Here's what you can expect:

- Learn to identify and sustainably harvest local flora
- Create of your own cords and prints to take home
- A delicious vegetarian lunch prepared on a campfire
- Insights into the significant health benefits of wild plants
- Gain the skills for processing natural fibers into crafts
The group's maximum size is six, ensuring a personalized experience. The workshop runs from 10 am to 3 pm, including an hour for lunch.

The cost is £60 per person.
